We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Manager to oversee payroll operations for a growing enterprise. This is a critical leadership role ensuring accurate, timely payroll processing across multiple states while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. 🔹 What You’ll Do:

✅ Oversee weekly payroll processing for employees across multiple states

✅ Manage payroll tax liabilities and ensure accurate, timely filings

✅ Handle certified payroll and compliance reporting

✅ Collaborate with accounting & HR teams to streamline processes

✅ Lead year-end W-2 reconciliation and ensure accuracy

✅ Set up Workman’s Compensation, Unemployment, and other programs in new states

✅ Manage the company’s 401K program and prepare for annual audits

✅ Train, manage, and develop payroll staff, ensuring top performance

🎯 What You’ll Bring:

🔹 2-4 years of multi-state payroll processing experience (AEC Industry preferred)

🔹 Leadership experience – at least 2 years of managing teams or leading payroll functions

🔹 Strong compliance mindset with attention to detail

🔹 Knowledge of certified payroll & payroll tax regulations

🔹 Ability to analyze, problem-solve, and optimize payroll processes

🎓 Preferred Qualifications:

📌 Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

📌 Strong understanding of multi-state payroll laws

📌 Experience implementing scalable payroll processes
